The past 27 of November 2015, the digital edition of Forbes published an article under the title Social Media For Health Care, Who´s Doing It Right. It´s author, Steve Olenski, states that Social Media marketing for health care provides unprecedented opportunities for educating patients, increasing outreach, and recruiting a new generation of health care professionals.
This journalist features the activity of five companies in this field of communication. One of them is GE Healthcare and, among other projects, points The Pulse on Health, Science, and Technology. A digital platform created, coded and curated by Ideagoras. A Tumblr blog filled with stunning radiology images. The blog contains images of creatures, from humans to insects to one-celled organisms, rendered using imaging studies like MRI, computed tomography, X-ray, and PET scans.
Ideagoras is the first social media in healthcare agency set up in Spain back in 2009. After only three years of operations, this startup was acknowledged by the USA HoneyTech blog as one of the first 100 social media agencies worldwide.
Besides globally, Ideagoras provides it´s services in the EU territory for the European Generic and Biosimilar Medicines Association, and works in a national Spanish basis for pharmaceutical companies such as AstraZeneca y Merck, among others.
